Not a bad way to start a boxing career, but how long will they keep him a "protected fighter" because of his heritage?
He should wear different shorts, boxic community is pretty toxic ( including me ) and will want him to get smoked.
Same as Campbell Hatton, Tommy 'The Night Terror' Fury and any other boxer related to a name they are gonna protect them before they get exposed as another Chavez Jr
He isn't very good at all. They'll probably get him to 12-0 or so before his opposition is no longer credible, at which point he'll get stopped. Wouldn't surprise me at all if he ends getting promoted by Jake Paul at some point and fights novice sons of other famous athletes.
Who knows. He seems to me like a bit of a novice a sort of novelty, kind of like Chavez Jr was. I expect Top Rank to take their time with him before they start putting him in with better competition.

Only 1 W by MD is not bad out-of 6 fights. I like the kid, he pays tribute, has respect and seems humble enough to want to continue developing his craft. Heritage can only take you so far..in the end Walsh has to step in the ring and do the dirty work. I dont think there is anything wrong with padding his record for atleast 2 more years before throwing him in wth some lions.
