    disagree again

One shot like Johnson nailed him with............but that was 2004 Roy Jones

We are talking about 1995 Roy Jones here............I think his chin was better then

To say he would be out of it first clean punch Benn lands is a hell of a big assumtpion

    I dont think so

A lot of people with better chins than Jones were knocked out by Nigel Benn - McClellan for starters.

Eubank had a far better beard than Jones, and although he took the shots, he was hurt/shook up a number of times.

Not necessarily one punch, but an accumulation of blows that weren't flush may have been finished off with a big right.

No way can you compare Douglas and Benn. Benn had proved himself way before that fight and been a champion for years. Douglas was thought of as a journeyman.

Maybe so.........but McClellan was not knocked out by the first punch Benn landed

He took 10 rounds of bombs before he took a voluntery knee

Jones could not afford to hang his chin out like that

But even if he was hit flush with some Benn bombs several times.............he might take the shots

Jones was also rocked by Jorge Vaca, troubled by Montell Griffin, floored by Lou De Valle and of course KO'd by Johnson and Tarver. Benn lands.. Roy goes down...

I think it was a great performance by Benn

But McCllenan was techincally very crude and had never learnt how to defend himself.............as if he would never need it

benn would never be able to get them same shots off on Roy Jones with no where near as much success

I'm not talking about overall... I'm saying that on the night he performed like one of the great middles of the 50's.... The same way on the night Douglas performed like a great heavyweight. Benn is far more consistant and obviously a much better fighter.

Benn was a British legend. Agressive, big puncher who was very popular and fought in some absolute wars!

Yeh but Jones at hios best was never hit. So u cant knock out what u cant hit.

In my eyes, and im only 30, Jones is the best boxer ive ever seen when at his best.

Jones would have very little change against the likes of Benn.
