    :patsch

I don't know what the deal with Strikeforce not getting Mayhem Miller fights but they need to tighten up. With his popularity he can easily he the face of the organization but they continue to jerk him around with fights. He's almost impossible to submit, has great stand-up along with lethal knees, and is the highest caliber of Brazilian jujitsu blackbelt. If you see him from 2007 and now, he's a totally different fighter. Even Jacera don't want anything to do with him anymore. **** it, reports are he'll get out of his contract by summer and will sign with the UFC.

Will he go back to UFC?

That's what the predictions are. Dana wants to sign him as a middleweight and give him either Leben, Bisping, or Akiyama.

Its probabley one of the two reasons mentioned so far, either Mayhem/Diaz is going to be setup(perhaps Mayhems ready to drop to 180? or Diaz is more willing to move up for some extra money?) or Miller is looking to sign with the UFC and thats thrown a spanner in the works. It could actually be a bit of both with Mayhem only being willing to signup for longer if they give him a fight with Diaz.

Either way it wasnt exactly a fight I was dying to see and both have already lost to Jacare.

times like this, surely people understand why a monopoly of the elite can be good for our sport.

a fight like this would be made easy in the ufc.

Akiyama has Marquardt soon but Leben or the Bisping-Rivera winner are some great fights. Probably wont happen but imagine the staredown for Mayhem and Wanderlei :admin

Cross promotion is a better idea.

Yep...co-promotion means that the best matches always get made in boxing.

Yea Wanderlei - Mayhem would be a great fight. I keep seeing Mayhem take Silva down over and over eventually getting a submission though. Mayhem is 0-1 1NC against Souza and frustrated the **** out of him the first fight.
