It was great to see. Nog is one of my favorite fighters, and I thought he was going to lose tonight. I'm very happy that I was wrong.
First fight where Big Nog has come in healthy BUT mosr importantly he has accepted he is old. NO FIGHTER has longevity unless they accept they are old. Doesn't matter if you are Hopkines, Couture or anyone else. You need to accept where you've got old. Big Nog IS slower and less durable. However in this fight he was moving his head AND grappling when needed. Without those 2 things I think it could have been good night.
