He did not beat Holmes( that seems to be common in bizzaro world when He fights close fights) . Nothing was hard to figure out about Norton,he had a tuck in jab style,most power punchers would have defeated him,very much like Frazier. Holyfield had more than enough power,and would be considered a power puncher in the 70's. Holyfield would find fighting a 205 /210 Norton quite refreshing from the 6'5 giants.
That`s true. Norton also had good speed. He was able to outbox Ali in their series and Ali even then was fast as hell. He ran Holmes to the wire and we know Larry was quick and threw straight punches. Holyfield is not too fast for Norton at all.
Dokes was quick but he past it and wasn't anything like Norton as a boxer. Kenny was called awkward but really he was a good defensive heavyweight. I'm not saying Holyfield can`t win because I wouldn't count him out but I don't think the style favors him here.
