Im a huge calzaghe fan but i must vent!!! He cannot show boat like jones used too, i dont mind he going macho in a tear up with opponents but he should use his boxing skills and not his ego, i was not happy with his antics! he could have been so more polished! Im a fan thaty says Prime Roy would beat joe, i must say though that joe would of given a good account of himself if they fight 5-7 years ago, but he would of lost! Nuff said!!
i agree with you.i am a fan but it do **** me off when he does that,it just dont suit him at all.makes him look like a twat.

I wish he had stopped showboating as much in the second half of the fight and looked for the stoppage. Jones was ready for the taking in my opinion and if Calzaghe had knuckled down he may have had Jones out of there. It was a dominant performance but Calzaghe seemed to ease offf the gas at stages. Still, 118 - 109 is aboust as one sided as you can get so all in all he did well. The showboating was nothing new and Jones has done his fair share lets not forget. He was happy to clown Joe in the first after dumping him on his arse so people shouldn't feel too bad that Joe gave it back in spades for the next 11 rounds.
both have very big ego's and after RJJ started showboating after the KD i think that hurt JC and he went out so show that he cant be hurt and can win while showboating even though enzo was telling him to work on the jab and keep the hands up
it was jones who looked like an idiot, calzaghe toyed with him as though he was play fighting with one of his sons.
I dont wanna say Jones is scared of getting hit, but...! The guy throws punches with the intention before ha has thrown it to back track just in case his opponent throws a punch. Yeah he has to be cautious, but i dont hink Jones trusts his own chin AT ALL and was terrified of getting knocked out even though Joe doesnt have great punching power. Jones wasnt throwing uppercuts because in order for him to throw a punch he leaves himself exposed during that time. I didnt seem Jones throw any commited punches consecutively until the 11th round
After all these years and all this writing off, the least he deserves is to take part in the showboating. I'm not a Calzaghe fan myself, and will have a good laugh if he ever loses the 0, but I give the guy credit for what he has done and think he has earned th showboating as much as anyone else. It looks gay, but he's entitled to it.
I could care less what Calzaghe did in that fight. From the day it was announced I said it was a sad joke and meaningless. I didn't even bother to watch it. I couldn't even get through a single episode of those ridiculous 24/7 hype job promotions on HBO. This fight was an insult to any true fan of boxing.
