Not Impressed with Bute

I'm not entirely impressed with Bute. The Bika fight was a solid win but besides that what else? a 40 year old Joppy? I think he's a bit of a runner too. Am I off the mark here?

You are right! lets take a look at Andrade: a tough but limited cat who smoked Butes ass the first fight regardless of the home cooking. Bute has a few decent wins period guy needs to fight a guy like Travis Cloud smoke his ass convincingly and I will be impressed

 

Well I think Bute is definitely one of the top guys in the division, can't say at the moment whether he is the #1 or not, not until he starts to face other top guys.

But I think he's starting to get a bit overrated on here. And it's probably going to get a bit worse for the next while. All the guys in the Super 6 are going to be facing top fighter after top fighter. It's going to be very tough for anybody to look dominant in every fight.

Bute on the other hand is going to be facing weaker level opposition, not really his fault due to most of the best choices being unavailable. It's going to be much easier for him to looking like a superstar.

 

Hes another guy who is a major draw where he fights. HBo is giving him push, but he has a lot to prove IMO.

I haven't seen Cloud for awhile. Did he ever figure out that jabs are legal?

 

Tavoris Cloud is a league above Lacy as far as currently. Well, currently, since Lacy is shot to ****, Cloud is three leagues above him.

yea Cloud is like Lacy from 2005, just not as good.

 

Bute ended his last two fights with body shots. Impresses me.

 

I haven't seen a lot of Bute. He should have been in the Super Six. I did, however, see Librado Andrade get robbed against him (that ref should be banned from boxing for life).
