Is this guy carrying Byrd ? I think he could finish him !

 

It's sad seeing byrd like this..

 

Byrd has never looked good against smaller, quicker guys, he looks horrible now that he's shot.

 

I'm finally starting to hear Tracy Byrd in the audience. It wouldn't be a Byrd fight without her incessant, whiney voice.

 

George is tagging Byrd with that right hand. Byrd having problems with George's speed.

Byrd is not looking good. He's weak, lethargic, and can't land a clean shot. I thought he'd have trouble with quicker guys, but I didn't think it would really show against George.

 

Round 3 fairly even round. Byrd shows life and perhaps lande more shots. George landed one counter right again as Byrd tried 2 turn it up a bit.

Byrd isn't doing anything to win this fight.

 

My guess is because he's a southpaw.

 

wlad gave him two beatings that probably took 10 years off his life. just absolutely brutal. the fight against povetkin showed he was a done as a top fighter. he couldn't let his hands go against either.

on a positive note, his wife has been relatively quiet :yep

 

Closer round for Chrissy but George wins the round. George is up 4-0.

 

Anyone catch what they said for why Teddy Atlas wasn't there - what was he in the hospital for? I guess I must be an Atlas fan, because it just doesn't seem the same without him there.

 

Round 4 10-9 Byrd. Byrd actually landed more and blocked much more of Georges work.

His timing seems improving. Byrd must turn up the heat.
