Oganov was taking a hiding to none in this one. Looking for a one punch KO while eating massive right hooks. Pitts range was spot on. Christ knows how Oganov lasted as long as he did.

I think you will find that's not the case, he shouldn't have been receiving an ice massage and instructions from his trainer, it was bull**** mate, plain and simple

So why wasnt KT asked if he wanted to sit down and have his balls massaged when Hatton smacked him in the nuts on purpose? the ref is mates with the other corner, he winks at them etc when saying the 5 min. Pitt needed the 5 min to recover from being beaten and to get his gas back, he didnt need the 5 min to recover from a punch to the back of the head that he turned into.

You might need to read up on the Victorian rules.

    Is this allowed in Vic?

Antons covered it but its something along the lines of in certain cases the fouled fighter can receive treatment in the five minute period from his corner. You'll get no argument from me that the ref lost control of this fight early but also some good corner work from Linc, taking control of the situation and doing the best for his fighter.

I'm told by a reliable source that Pitt shouldn't have been treated by his corner during the 5 minute break.

Hmmm. I dont know the Vic rules but if they allow what happened to happen, then they should be bloody changed

I'm just going with what I've heard, if I'm incorrect than it falls at the referees feet but still Linc made the best of the situation for his fighter.
