This guy had alot lot of talent in the amateurs winning about 4or 5 national titles. Buut he kept getting into trouble with the law. He was suppose to turn pro a while back then right before hs debut he was puicked up on drug trafficking, just wandering what went wrong this weekend.

You have many contacts in the Akron area? I'm trying to help some folks build up a little communications network. They want to concentrate on the area from Cleveland down through Akron, Youngstown and into Pittsburg. I'm not 100% sure, but it sounds like they want to concentrate of coordinating events/announcing events by getting the right folks signed up to an email list. I'll find out more shortly, but I think they are looking to sign up as my gyms/training centers/whatever and just see if it helps.

i was going to pittsburgh this weekend to sit horror-struck as paul spadafora turned in what promised to be a performance as underwhelming as the few others he's turned in against sub-tomato can opposition since the beginning of his spiral out of control and condition (and of his mind). it's too bad that they guy who once actually got the better of floyd mayweather jr. in sparring--and floyd freely and publicly admitted as much in a few rare moments of candor and humbleness--has sunk to such depths. he's fighting at welterweight...oh, wait, no he isn't because he was melodramatically hobbling around on crutches apologizing for postponing the fight less than a week before it was to go off. spaddy probably just saved me wishing i hadn't bought the ticket in the first place. this way, at least i got a refund. pittsburgh, in the last several years, has been totally without a boxing light in the darkness, as it is. they had joe wyatt, who was alright, as an opponent, but is now retired. all they have now is undersized, pitter-pattering knockout of the year waiting to happen monty meza clay. i like pittsburgh. i like the city. i like the people and their straightforward, no frills attitude. every time i go out there i see better fights in bars than i see their local fighters producing. the conspicuous lack of gyms in the downtown and north side is probably at the heart of why the lack of emerging local fighters. the kids are plenty tough around there, but no outlet to train and focus the lifestyle attitude into something sharper and more disciplined.

Gather up some names and see if there is an interest in what we are talking about. This isn't going to be a massive effort since there aren't that many places overall. But, if we get a few interested parties like yourself helping us get started with the contacts, we might be able to raise the overall profile of boxing in the region. Now need someone in Pittsburg and Cleveland. HINT! HINT! HINT! :hey
