Oliver McCall

Did you know he is still fighting? He won a 6 round decision on November 30 in Corpus Christi Texas.

 

He hadn't fought for more than 4 years prior. Crazy tho.

 

I think that they are keeping him around to promote another heavyweight, Justin Jones. The idea, I think, is that people will come to see McCall and get hooked on the other fighters that the promoters are trying to move.

I met him a couple of years ago. Couldn’t have been nicer to me. Good luck to Oliver in all things.

 

He's 53 years old I'm honesty shocked that he got a license.

 

I always hear he is a really cool dude. I feel bad for him with his troubles because he is such a solid person.

 

I am not actually. Given his durability and low level of opposition, its understandable.

 

would like to see him fight David Price.....

Why?

 

Because Price is a big puncher with a weak chin, McCall has a great chin and still has some punching power.
50/50 fight in my book

 

Neither won of them is or was ever world clas though.
