In the win against Chebah he won the WBC final eliminator and is guaranteedva his world title shot against the winner of Erik Morales and Danny Garcia. He had to wait again as the Morales vs Garcia fight was postponed from the original however now that contest has happened and Garcia won he has to fight Ajose Olusegun next or is stripped of the title. I suspect Golden Boy Promotions may want Garcia to give up the belt rather than face Ajose if Amir Khan defeats Peterson in the rematch which I don't think he will incidentally.
Really hope he gets the shot. He really deserves it and looked the most fan-friendly I've seen him against Chebah.
I hope that Ajose gets his shot. Garcia is beatable which is precisely why GBP won't risk him. So perhaps Ajose will get to fight for the vacant title.
The Chebah fight was great, and gave him some good exposure in america, hopefully Ajose gets his world title fight sometime very soon.
It would be a sad indictment on modern day prospects and boxing as a whole these days if a fighter who has just preyed on a faded legend to pick up a belt would vacate it immediately rather than take on a decent test.

I like Mike Alvarado. He is a better fighter than Garcia in my opinion. I saw Alvarado beat the guy who knocked Amir Khan out.
