josh taylor is our top prospect at the minute imo but we have a few decent guys coming up that could challenge for british titles and maybe more,

    joe ham
    grant quigley
    stephen tiffany
    jason easton
    sam ball
    lewis paulin
    charlie flynn

other guys that imo won't do that much imo

    ross henderson
    lewis benson
    tommy philbin
    stuart burt

there are probably more but those are the ones i would say ar decent at the minute

Good decision, Carmona won a close bout in my opinion, Barnes hit lots of arms and elbows, lots of cuffing shots and looked shattered after two rounds.

Richie and Ronald must have blinkers on, they barely called the very good counter shots Carmona was landing and landing cleanly.

i only listened to it on irish radio on my way home from work, and by the sound of the commentator i was listening, they thought Barnes had lost.

I did just watch an interview with Barnes and he weighed 59 kgs last week, and had to drop to 49kgs for the weigh in.

Thats pretty much 20% of his bodyweight he had to lose, thats outrageous in anyones language. How did the irish team expect him to perform with having to boil himself down so much to make that weight.

Hopefully he'll turn professional and go on to bigger and better things.

    Good post :good

Felt the same in the Yafai bout.

Commentary team had made their mind up before the fight that the Cuban would win, and gave him credit in the last round when none was due.

Wow that's a huge mount of weight to lose, explains why he looked out on his feet after two rounds.

:good I'm getting that impression from the commentary that they have already marked their cards before the first bell.

Fowler had a tough night with the Kazakh - very slick boxer and a good puncher.

Fowler was really poor, and the fella he fought was really handy.

Maybe if he would have had an easier first round he would have come on, but from what i saw Eddie Hearn won't be calling

And I'd like to add Fowler on Twitter didn't make any excuses and never mentioned the word "robbery" :good

Apparently (Twitter) he is turning pro now and when asked who with he said "whoever offers me the most money".

I was reasonably impressed with Okolies attitude after the nightmare of getting dropped that early.

Adjusted and dug in, but his lack of experience at that level showed and I believe he will come on a ton for this experience.

But you're spot on, Savon looked very good.
