Tough draw in middlweights for Fowler cousin.. Against Alimkhanuly.. maybe the best guy there.. I predicted Alimkhanuly or the mighty Christian Mbilli to win the middleweights.. so I think it's gonna be tough for Fowler.. If he can do it.. then great.. but..
He had a very action packed, entertaining fight with a VERY good Mytrofanov just now, and won. It was a razor close fight start to finish. The British commentator didn't realise Mytrofanov is not simply an aggressive fighter, he likes aggressive counter punching with combinations too. Mytrofanov will be brilliant for pros, as would Mbilli for that matter.
I watched it Mr L, I thought Barnes lost, I had it 29-28 to the Spanish boxer, it was very close though, I thought Barnes threw a lot of cuffing sort of shots that landed on arms and elbows, lots of work with little reward. Barnes said afterwards he struggled badly with the weight and it showed after two rounds, he looked shattered.
