This fight hurts and disgusts me. Cannot accept the way Barrera was set up to fight till 5th round so Khan could win the decision. Don't get me wrong he probably would of won but the way a legend and warrior was used like that pisses me right off.

I thought that might provoke a reaction

I have no doubt Khan would have won the fight but you're right, a ring legend shouldn't be treated like that, total lack of respect. Thats Dave Parris for you tho eh :-(

Everyone's favourite commentator Jim Watt stopped Charlie Nash in the 4th at Kelvin Hall to retain his WBC Lightweight Title.

That decision still pisses me off.

Even Pacquiao knew he lost at the end, looked a beaten man, almost congratulating Marquez on his ''win''.

Still, it wasn't as bad as the decision in the first fight, this one was much closer.

 cheers slip, if its between me and 'white powder' i'll be ****ing foaming if i dont get it

No-one seemed to be posting much so i kinda just adopted this thread and started pounding it. People have probably got loads of great fights to put on this thread but think they'll upset me if they do haha.

I'm quite happy to admit i've got a fairly limited knowledge of the sport pre-1990, some of the knowledge on here is ridiculous, so looking at some of the classic fights is a great way to learn for me

It still pisses me off as well mate, more because of the first fight. This fight was closer and i can just about see why Pac got the decision, the knockdown obviously proved crucial in the end. But its a travesty that JMM will likely retire without a deserved victory over arguably the greatest fighter of our generation.

Pacman obviously has a thing for the 15th March, on this day in 2003 he stopped Serikzhan Yeshmagambetov in the 5th round in the Phillipines. A very much work-in-progress, left-hand happy Pac was dropped quite hard in the 4th, (i think) the last time he was knocked down in a fight, but showed great heart to stop Serik in the 5th.
