When Pac was laying back on the ropes I was expecting Cotto to start trying to smash his guard out of the way like he did against Clottey. Instead he just stood in front of him and didn't throw much, was he that scared of trading with Pac?

I dunno mate, i guess he didnt want to use up too much energy or something. Who knows, he's not the same fighter i remember, still has the heart, but something is gone.

Cotto looks confused...He definitely needs a world class trainer to help him in those situations. Pacquiao was open to the uppercut the whole night but Cotto didn't do ****. Pac's a beast though.

I wondered that, but thought, as soon as Cotto lowers his hands to go to the body, Pac knocks him out. Opponents are really fearful of Pac's punches. :good

Pac was inviting him to come in. He was being weary of a counter-punch most likely.

I'm not making excuses. Manny was excellent, but when Cotto was throwing his body shots and left hook, they didn't look like the same ones he usually throws in previous fights. Could this be because Pacquiao is so fast, that when Cotto throws it looks sluggish? I don't know.

He looked ok up until that KD in round 4. That hurt him, and he was just on auto-pilot after that, IMO.

It's cus he was getting beat up. That takes the steam out of your punches. He was a bit woozy by the 3rd round, and it got worse from there.

He was looking sharp and probably the fastest I've ever seen him since the Judah fight in the first couple of rounds.

After feeling Pacs Power I get the feeling he was weary of getting caught

Exactly. Pac clearly punches hard at the higher weights, if someone like Cotto isn't willing to take sustained punishment from him.

he felt pac's punches that's why.....he's a bit scared..... and he's almost out of breath throwing hard punches on pac.....he should have moved to the center.....well...it's too late for him....pac swirled him around and knock his brains out....

i personally think cotto just couldnt pull the trigger, b/c of the extra 2 lbs he had to lose. did u notice how the fight started to mimic the de la hoya fight? but im not making excuses, pac fought a good fight and did what he had to do.

I think Pacquiao was luring Cotto in when he was against the ropes so Cotto could open up and he could catch him, he was trying to get Cotto out of the box from the outside game plan.

I sensed perhaps it wasn't the 'strongest' Cotto we've seen but in all honestly, as a Cotto fan, I don't think he could of dealt with Manny last night even if he came in 2lbs over. Power was the difference. Pac showed to take Cottos shots and Cotto couldn't take Manny's.
