Anyone still think Manny WON'T be in shape for this execution???? Barrera should claim 'back injury' soon, because this is like sending a lamb to the slaughter :deal

Its kinda a sad to think that this great fighter MAB can go to a fight expecting to be dismantled...But thats just goes to show how Primed and Peaking PAC is right now. Hes just 2 notches above

MAB is a great fighter and one of my favs over the last 10 or so years....but he is walking into a beat down like we've never seen before. I'll be rooting for him and if by some miracle he can pull out a win it would be an amazing win that might top all of his previous wins. That said, i think he gets blown away and doesn't see the final bell :-(

I actually would rather for him to get blown away quickly than suffer a 10 round beatdown...I mean last thing you want is damage to the brain in your farewell fight

i agree, but Barrera has too much heart to just lay down. He'll try to get up and fight on. sadly though i don't think that would be wise.

Thats the problem:? Remember hes been talking about this is for Mexican pride at all...Pac will have to force him into submission which really is sad. Damn just take the money and be careful

i think the problem with this fight is that barrera knows he is going to have to box to win because he knows he can be hurt. you cannot do that with manny. he is too fierce in there. Eric morales beat manny by becoming more fierce than manny was himself. every time manny hit eric, it seemed as though a fire burned in eric (i mean his face was intense when he got tagged) to fire back 3, 4, 5 times. Eric Morales has always been my favorite fighter, and while he is done now, that was the best fight I have ever seen him fight. that is how you beat manny. And quite frankly, barrera does not have it in him to do that.

Good one.! Also you box while backpedalling against Manny, he'll chase you for 12 rounds...and he is effective chasing (Check the Solis fight) MAb also aint a counter puncher like JMM to counter PACs lunges. I just cant see it. Like I said do what Erik did in his 3rd fight w/ PAC..Take the knee and the money

Who said Barrera isn't a counterpuncher? He has the ability to box his way to a win, but the question is can he do it for the full 12 rounds...
