Still looks too sloppy and cannot throw punches with correct technique still.

I simply don't think he is that good.

Bomber Bellew would decapitate him. I'd take Ovil McKenzie to do him as well. Ajisafe would beat him also.

    He is going nowhere.

It was a good KO punch, but he didn't exactly look convincing before it.

Give him a bit more time with his new training team and see what he's like in a couple of fights time. I've never been sold on him, but i'm guessing he must have something about him.

Bellew/Jefferies would be a great matchup, I'd love to see that. One that I've never seen mentioned.

Id agree. Technically he doesn't look even decent. True he won a medal at the olympics but Egan showed even in the vests how limited Jeffries is when he is up against someone who will box instead of brawl with him.

I saw a different mindset in him tonight from start. He wanted to do what Brooks wanted but he can't. He doesn't understand range and how to use the jab. He would throw it miss and then allow Tolan to just walk in and get underneath him.

He just never looks relaxed, i do wonder if not having the head guard and the aggressiveness of pro boxing worries him. He just doesn't look comfortable.

I think he do well to challenge for a British Title. I be interested to see what else Brooks adds. I can already see a few minor things which at least give you hope that Jefferies will develop a bit more.

He's never going to be world class. He could win a British title though. Jeffries vs Belllew would be great.

Maloney will lose a lot on Jeffries. Apparently he's invested ALOT in him.

Good point about Jeffries with range and the jab, thats actually his glaring weakness. He seems to be just throwing the jab for the sake of it because its the right thing to do, but he can't seem to time it at all and he is well outta range. Seems very tentative overall, not very confident looking in the ring because he knows he can't do what he should be doing.

Bellew vs Jeffries would actually be a classic right now.

Bellew would **** Jefferies up. Not just saying it because i'm a fan and he posts here but Jefferies is a accident waiting to happen in a fight like that. He still rides back with chin up. He's made for a puncher like Bellew. He wouldn't have to jab...he could just walk in and land and it be lights out.

Thats why it would be fun. It wouldn't last long but it would be good while it did. We have to be honest and admit Tony is a little open at times, particularly early in the fight until he susses where the punches are coming from so he could easily be decked again himself.

Bellew's a lot more confident and steely than Jefferies, Jefferies seems very fragile. I think he'd probably fall apart under pressure after a few rounds.

Yeah it would be fun.....i'd fear for Jaffa though cos Bellew is a cold guy...he'd smell the fear and ravage him within first few rounds. Bellew within 3 rounds. The KO.....would be spectacular.

Bellew might have to get off the canvas to do it, but I'd see him beating Jeffries emphatically. He's better in just about every area (except maybe power).

I completely agree. I've been a critic of Bellew staying with Arnie, but hes a big puncher and a hard c*nt. He would ruthlessly dispose of Jeffries in frightening fashion. I loved his post fight interview after the McKenzie fight..

"McKenzie was hurt, if the referee didn't step in when he did... God help McKenzie".
