Is Victor Ortiz V Lamont Peterson going to be shown on Box Office as part of the Khan card. I'm assuming it is obviously as it's taking place on the US undercard and most of the English fights will be out on early but as I've seen no mention of it I'm a little concerned. I won't be buying the card if that fight isn't on there because it won't be worth it.

Here's how the Daily Mirror has the night going:

    8pm
    Kell Brook v Philip Kotey

    9pm
    Matthew Macklin v Ruben Varon

    10pm
    Nathan Cleverly v Nadjib Mohammedi

    11pm
    Paul Smith v James DeGale

    Midnight
    Tony Bellew v Ovill McKenzie

    1.37am
    Joan Guzman v Jason Davis

    2.40am
    Victor Ortiz v Lamont Peterson

    3.40am
    Amir Khan v Marcos Maidana

And speaking of the Ortiz-Peterson bout, the reporter in Boxing News has Peterson taking it on points with his slick skills.

HBO are on air at 2.30 for the Ortiz v Peterson fight. Guzman v davis is shown live on the international feed of the card, so that's why we will get it, but they won't in the States.

So do I but I seemed to be in the minority in a thread at the start of the week.

I lean towards Ortiz, but its no foregone conclusion and I wouldn't really argue the point against anyone pulling for Peterson.

For me that fight and the Vic fight are the 2 "squeakers" tonight.

I'm always getting mixed up with the Petersons. Isn't there one who can box but likes a bit of a scrap?

Peterson has been picked because they see something in him. He just hasn't transitioned to this level even though fundamentally he's not too bad, he lacks a lot of physical tools. Ortiz might have a little quit in him and maybe immature mentally at this stage, but the kid is very talented and punches really hard...i don't see what Lamont has that will exploit the Ortiz weaknessess. He's not a big puncher and he's a tall fighter who likes to go on the inside giving away his good jab. The speed and power disparity is gonna be so vast here, Lamont is really slow on his feet and telegraphs his punches. I'm rooting for Peterson and he's certainly good enough to cause an upset here, but i just can't see it. I think Ortiz might even stop him late.

Ortiz-Peterson will be close, think Ortiz will get the win but will have to go the distance.

Like Mares against Vic tonight, he can do it :bbb

He's good enough to do it. I'd say it's a better, more competitive fight that Khan-Maidana will be.
