Just watching ringside and Haye had me thinking about over training when he said hes been out in miami already getting in shape. so, how do u monitor how much/hard u need to train and how do u know when u've burnt urself out:think
Yeah all he's doing is ticking over. Couple rounds on pads and bags and skipping etc. Just to make sure he stays at a respectable weight before entering camp. Camp's far different. Higher intensity and overload of work into a timespan.
Well you still get lads who overtrain. Haye is well aware of what his body should be doing cos he's got a team of coaches. Bradleys a gym rat but he knows when out of camp it's just managing weight and keeping self sharp and ready for start of camp. Hatton used to have more then tactics on mind. His battles was to drop the weight he was carrying. Nothing worse then entering a camp way over weight. Feel like **** and not sharp.
Well first off if youve overtrained you will loose strength and speed , you will find it hard to concentrate on your workouts you will become increasingly willing to miss workouts and not put much effort in , you'll feel tierd and in severe cases it can affect your whole day making you feel irritable and frustrated . Also if youve overtrained and completley burnt yourself out sometimes it can take months to fully recover , thats in an extreme case sometimes you can just lightly over do it in that case a day or two rest is fine . I know this because i have overtrained myself badly in the past. Also once youve overtrained you will struggle to sleep
Haye is in great condition...:yep He is just ticking over...:yep Haye will KO Wlad and beat Vitali on points...:deal
Over training wouldn't likely come from training for too long- its more a result of too much intensity over a short period of time. Its much to do with the CNS and as listed above the symptons are numerous and pretty recognisable. I've been back training since September only recently when I have significantly upped my strength and conditioning have I felt slightly over worked. Couple of days off and your good to go. IMO :good
