Overrated "Close" Fights

    I have to agree with the Foreman-Holyfield fight. George didn't land **** and only stayed on his feet due do his chin and girth. I've seen it countless times on ESPN Classic.

    Having brought it up (which I shouldn't have) I'll put it to bed. JMM DID fight a tremendous technical fight after he survived the blitz. I can see both sides of that decision, but I personally watched the tape three or four times, and reached the conclusion that Manny made some nice adjustments of his own to win a couple of key rounds, and thus the fight. Just my worthless .02.

    I'm more interested in doing what the thread intended. Let's root out the fights that weren't NEARLY as close as people say they were.

    I know this is an old saw, I am sorry, but...Holyfield-Lewis II.
    I've read some people make out like this was a robbery and that Holy should've won. Usually the same people that had Lewis barely winning or even drawing the first fight, mind you.
