here's my question. Since 1990, how many fighters have held the title of p4p number 1 and can you name them? My guess would be, chavez, whitaker, jones, floyd, pac. But it is only my guess.

Calzaghe has never been #1 p4p. Top 10, yes. top five-- after Kessler.

I love him but he is not #1.

    PBF, RJJ, Morales qualify.

    Chavez
    Whitaker
    Jones
    Delahoya
    Trinidad
    Mosely
    Hopkins
    Mayweather
    Pacquiao

Those were officially ranked 1 at one point tho I would have thrown Morales & Barrera in there in their primes as being the no1 at certain stages as they were always in the toughest divisions & completely outshone everyone except for each other - I think in a way they cancelled each other out because neither was overly dominant over the other.

Felix Trinidad was never ranked p4p#1 by The Ring.

    The exact lineage is:

    CHAVEZ 1990-3

    WHITAKER 1993-6

    JONES JR 1996-7

    DE LA HOYA 1997-9

    JONES JR 1999-2000

    MOSLEY 2000-2002

    HOPKINS 2002-5

    MAYWEATHER 2005-8

    PACQUIAO 2008-

I think Roy was back at #1 when Mosley lost to Forrest - until the Tarver KO loss. Which is 27.01.2002 to 15.05.2004.

Do you mean in 1990 before Chavez? I was sure it was Chavez from the start of '90 or slightly earlier.
