After watching the Barrera fight it seemed that Pac

    had less desire
    looked drained
    altogether a lesser fighter

is his lifestyle affecting his career again or has a long punishing boxing career finally caught up?

He didn't seem as sharp against Barerra...but he also had an unwilling partner. I do think that JMM is gonna beat him and he MAY have declined a bit, but how would we really know. His last three fights have been against A weight drained, shop worn Morales, Jorge Solis (who?), and Barerra in farewell mode. He would win all of these fights in decline so we won't know til JMM whoops him.

    Yep, Pac is declining.

Declining stylewise as a slugger and becoming more of a cerebral, patient boxer-puncher.

Yeah - Pac-Man looked drained and not himself - and he still won.

Yeah - I think something's getting to him too. Maybe he's just getting tired of fighting the same guys - but I doubt if he's getting tired of the money.

Fight Marquez - then move up in weight.

He's in decline, I think it's more due to desire and personal life. Skill wise? He's still got it, but Pac was an overachiever because of his fire and heart. He attacked and was agressive, and fired back when hit.

Barrera was a shell of himself, and has been for a short while, he's been in decline for years, one has to only look at his fights with Juarez to see this, a guy he would of destroyed years earlier.

he is 29 and he was past his prime now. especially with his style of fighting which shortens any boxers career.

I think Pac will be. Only that he let his other interests affect his profession. Poor performance shows when Pac don't take his training seriously, take the Larios fight for example where Chololo got him wobbled. I wish he get starched next time.

his speed, stamina and power are all still there. it is his desire, hunger and fire which may be in decline.
