Dont get why that's so hard to believe. The number one ranked fighter is someone PAC demolished previously even if it was 10 pounds lighter.

I'd pick PAC but it would be a fairly even contest early on

    No, I mean I don't like the thought of Pac/Alvarez than I do Mayweather/Alvarez.

Right...well, I'd rather see Floyd/Pac than any of the alternatives but I think people would be surprised how well Canelo might do against Pac, in particular.

First of all, their weigh in weights would be 146 and 154. Their in ring weights would be 150 and 160+ (can't remember what Alvarez's unofficial ring weights have been, anybody?).

I think Pacquiao looks foolish in there with Alvarez, considering the perceived skill differential and that, apparently, Mayweather and Pacquiao are both expected to blow out Alvarez.

That said, I think it would go the distance, with each winning a few clear rounds plus a whole bunch of close rounds, and Pacquiao would get the semi-controversial UD.

Good post. I think it would be fairly even through 6-8 rounds then PAC takes the last 2 or 3 with his superior stamina

It would be another catch-weight fight since Team Pacquiao said that they won't allow him to fight at 154 anymore. Saul may have to fight at 150.

If it takes place at 154 then Pac is gonna be in disadvantage but if it takes place at 150 then Pac is gonna beat Canelo. I don't think that Pac is gonna fight Canelo at 154. It will have to be another catch-weight fight if it happens.

Canelo is like a slightly bigger, inferior version of Cotto.

Pacquiao would pin-point Caleo with sharp straight lefts and beat his ass down.

Pac via schooling. He'll be in and out, side to side. Canelo isn't a counter puncher nor can he fight going backwards. That's what troubles Pac.
