that's the point. Margarito has some awful boxing skills for a top tier boxer, but his boxing skill is better than GSP's :beat

Do you realize that in MMA, a welterweight division has different scale than boxing?

    In boxing, a welterweight is from 140 - 147. In MMA, a welterweight is 155 to 170.

But a puncher/slugger boxer with an almost bare-knuckle who would connect to a chin would kill anyone.

now weight would matter in a boxing match if your opponent could box but GSP doesnt know boxing.

He's got a decent jab. Saw him against Koscheck and jabbed his face in over 5 rounds and made a pizza out of it. And this was against a guy who is a big 170 and bigger on fight night. He will land on Manny, if Margo could then GSP would. Just dont get how you guys think, talking fight night weights here, how a 140 guy beats the **** of a 180 guy who is athletic, naturally much bigger and has a decent jab right hand. That seriously is some fantasy captain courageous **** there. ****ing
Pac may well land shots but how many can he take from a guy who is naturally ****ing huge, as I said the equivalent of a light heavyweight in boxing terms. You out of your ****ing minds??? stupid to even mention this fight.

LMAO! You do know Anderson Silva (who's regarded as probably the best hands in MMA) has a pro boxing record of 1-1 don't you?...and he didn't lose to some top 10 boxer..I'd rank the guy 1,000th in the world. He lost to a nobody!
Pac is currently the P4P #1 boxer in the world. In the whole world this man is one of the best to ever throw hands. He'd beat Dos Santos, or Cain FFS in a boxing match! Definitely GSP's extra 30 pds doesn't mean much when he's going against one of the greatest men to ever lace up gloves... :patsch
If you think weight means that much just go look up Mosley vs Shaq, and see how that turned out for him. Shaq is two Shane Mosley's, and Mosley still wins...and Shaq actually has trained in boxing for a while.

wtf?? now you are saying Pac destroys a guy who weighs 220lbs+ and have KO power in one shot, and are over 6ft. You dont think Pac would simply get walked down and battered and killed???? are you for real??? 140 pacman, 220 Dos Santos. How about 260+ Brock Lesnar?? hell Brock, Cain and Dos Santos at the same time, with one hand?? blind folded!!

I'm not saying he destroys any of them, but he definitely *COULD* outbox them easily. Move, angles, pot shot, etc. Of course he could get caught with something, and he would get hit some, but if this fight were to take place in a boxing ring tomorrow I'd bet on Pac. To prove I'm not some idiot ******* I'd definitely bet on Mayweather as well. Of course if Cain or Santos lands something big they could easily knock out Pac or Mayweather.
Cain and Dos Santos, but Brock lesnar? C'mon...Even at 265 what have you ever seen to say he can throw punches, or take punches? The only time I seen him land something was against Herring, and any punches I've ever seen him take....That didn't workout for him LOL. I know he didn't get hit by a 150 pd man, and it was Carwin, and Cain, but c'mon...Lesnar would gas within 2 rounds of chasing Pac around the ring, and quit from exhaustion on his stool. There's no hammer fists in boxing, sorry to Brock.

    >Pac is 147
    >GSP is 170
    >Pac is going to knock out GSP in 60 seconds even in a boxing match

    Come on, man...
