Obviously one of the all time great lightweights but was he undefeated ? I'm mainly looking for info on his 1904 fight against Dusty Miller. Some places say he lost by KO others say it wasnt even Packey who fought Miller.

Can anyone shed some light ?

Lost by disqualification. Avenged it by KO.

McFarland may well be the greatest fighter to never get a title shot. At least Langford had an opportunity against Walcott.

The 1957 edition of "The Ring Record Book and Boxing Encyclopedia" simply recorded his 1904 match against Dusty Miller as an "L5," with no further details.
