Boxing's No1 and No2 have two very contrasting styles. One has a relentlessly attacking approach to the sweet science. He has both incredible hand speed and KO power. The other is a master of his art. A defensive genius who evasive instincts allow him to win fights with ease. Manny is one of the most exiciting fighters in the sport, who doesnt mind taking shots in order to land. But may have to settle for a shorter career at the top. While Floyd even though he is impressive is often criticised for not entertaining. Plus by not being hit as much is likely to have a longer career. The question I ask is would you rather have Pacquiao's attack or Floyd's defence?
Boxing is dangerous enough as it is, I'd rather have Floyd's defense. Otherwise your speech might end up sounding like Floyd Sr. or Roger (or you could be a lot worse).
I certainly enjoy Pac's aggressive style, however if I were a fighter I'd rather have Floyd's defense.
I don't see why anybody wouldn't want the bigger pay days while simultaneously avoiding brain damage. I actually think Floyd has the speed and skills to fight like Pac, he just chooses not to, whereas Pac couldn't ever fight like Floyd.
I am a fighter so, Floyd D all the way. Nobody wants to get hit, in boxing you will be but I would rather have that D. ANd I could pick my shots, or work on my offense and still win the fight. "Offense takes the glory, but defense WINS the game"
Mayweather has good power when he chooses to let go. Id rather have PBFs defense if i had to choose. But i would mind having Pac's offense and PBFs defense together
