I had ESPN on earlier tonight and I just happened to look at the bottom of the TV for the scrolling news.

    It said Pac has signed.

Of course there was doubts, because of the bloody election:patsch

Hence why May was out of the question. That only left march.

September or later would have been considered a DUCK considering the hype for the fight:D

Either way im ****ing happy pac signed has agreed to fight at 147 and not no catchweight bull****. lol

Hmm.. Floydettes assumed Pac will duck floyd. Ducking is not pac's business.

They had to do it sooner rather than later, while the "iron is still hot" so to speak.

Now the ball is on floyd's court. Let's see what he'll do.

How can he sign anything when the negotiations aren't even over?

Arum said he's going back to Floyd with a list of requests from Pacquiao.

He said the requests are reasonable and it shouldn't be a problem. But still, you can't write a legal binding contract or sign it unless those details are ironed out.

All you can do is agree on principals.

He already agreed to the terms Arum took to Pac-man, who then agreed on the major points of contention.

It's not totally signed yet. Maybe Pacquiao wants unreasonable changes to the contract. Can't believe Arum it's reasonable.

he just agreed in principle and unless he signed the dotted line it has no bearing. he can still change his mind.
