The goal of the test though isn't to just keep testing and taking blood, its to strike fear into the fighters that they can be tested at any time. Even if they stopped testing after 18 days, the fighters didn't know that they were going to stop 18 days and there for expected to be tested at any time. With blood testing random up to the fight and the blood work they did already the OSDT felt they did enough to ensure that neither fighter would cheat for that fight especially since neither fighter knows when they are going to come again. That's the power of random up to the fight, they don't even have to test once but just the fact that they can come at any time would do the trick by itself. Though its safer to at least test 2-3 times just to make sure you have some type of data. There is no downside to having blood and urine samples
