I think that this will be a close fight and will go 12 rounds. Barrera will try to step around Pacquaio and work his jab to set up counters, while Pacquaio will try to pressure Barrera and take him out of his gameplan. The outcome will depend on who controls the pace.

    Opinions?

Manny is too tough, he's in his prime, and the first fight left no indication that Barrera has what it takes to beat Pac.

I would be quite shocked if MAB pulls it off.

Although I could be wrong, I think Barerra has one great fight left in him and will pull of the upset. Barerra W12 Pacquiao.

PacMan is still to much for MAB.

He's had a great career and will get a nice paid day to end it.

I'm calling MAB IF he fights intelligently and doesn't let the Mexican come out of him. I fear he is too old now. After an early buzz against JMM he did fade, same in the first Juarez fight. In the Juarez rematch he fought more conservatively. So I'm not sure.

Age and smarts will be telling.

Barrera's saavy and skill will keep it very competitive through the first half of the fight, but Pac's speed, youth, and determination will wear him down late. Pac TKO 10

I personally think Bararra has more boxing intelligence and is more adaptable than Pac and will therefore find away to win. Not an easy assignment I might add.

Pretty much agree with everything achilles said.

Barrera would not have taken the fight if he had not have thought that he could win. At first I thought he'd lose but now I think he will win on points.

Zero chances for MAB to win it.

There is a reason why it took him almost 4 years to have this rematch: MAB knows there is no way he can beat Pac.

Last time they fought, he did everything in his arsenal to pull it off, including headbutting and punching while the referee was halting them, but they are mostly just a show of desperation, and when he do those kinds of stuffs, you know he is losing the fight. Much like he did with JMM.

And the rematch with Rocky? He knows he can box smart against that heavy puncher that is why he was so quick to award him a rematch. On the other hand, against Pac, he knows facing him again would be a career suicide. That is why he waited years, when he is already set to retire, before agreeing to this fight.

PS: I actually don't think he really expected to fight JMM last March. He was thinking of a swan song at that time, and that is against Pac. Unfortunately, the GBP-TR fiasco happened.

More reason to believe that he won't win againts Pac, since he only accepted the rematch becasue of the potential career-high pay day he can have before he leaves the sports.

If he was cofident or even had a thought of beating Pac, the rematch could have occured much earlier.

Surprised with the initial result of the poll.

The MAB sentimentalists are in full force I guess, while the Pac fans are yet to log in to cast their votes.:yep

Barrera loses a UD similar to the Marquez fight. I'd hate to see him get TKO'd again.
