There are some rumors that Bob Arum wants this fight to happen. Pacquiao shouldn't mess with any of the top welters IMHO.
This wouldn't be a good fight for Pac-Man. I don't think he is fast enough to keep Cotto turning and off balance the way he did with the bigger Oscar.
Arum is building up this fight... he is cashing in on pac before he retires. If floyd ain't gonna fight pac this year pac-cotto will happen late this year... it's almost guaranty.
if cotto boxes pac, close fight. if he stalks and uses controlled aggression, quick and easy win for cotto.

cotto might win but i don't see him blistering or dominating pac... pac is no longer the 130 boxer we all know.
There will be bad blood, however Arum breathes for money and if he can make it come to fruition he will....especially if he thinks Manny stands a good chance of beating Cotto. Which we all know, with the exception of the Pacman nuthuggers that Cotto will kick his ass so hard.....well I won't state the obvious.
