Guzman, with his movement and speed will puzzle Pac for the 1st 2 rounds. He may even land some bombs on pac but Pac can absorb it no problem.

After that and due to Pac's constant pressue, Guzman slows down and starts getting hit often.

Around 6th Guzman gets hit almost at will by Pac especially when he gets backed up the ropes.

Guzman gets knocked down repeatedly in the 7th and the ref saw enough.:nono

guzmans lack of discipline decides this fight, imo he would loss before he even gets to the ring

Guzman does not even deserve a thread on any boxing forum.

The guy won his last few fights simply by shamelessly outweighing the other guy at the weigh-in by two weight classes.

Now...Pac wins by decision, a rather wide decision pulling away late. Not because Pacquiao is so much better than Guzman, but Guzaman doesn't appear to have the same focus he once did. But 3-5 years ago...Pacquiao gets out boxed....EASILY.

You honestly think Roach would let Manny fight a boxer as cagey and skilled as Guzman?

To put it bluntly, Pacquiao's comeback since Marquez exposed him is taking on six consecutive brawlers, who just come to fight.

Styles make fights in boxing. Diaz, Hatton, Oscar, Margarito, Cotto are just made for Pacquiao. They got the fights because of the way they fight.

Pacquiao's turned down probably 3 million PPVs, and $40 million in the bank in not facing Marquez and Mosely when he had the chance.

And it aint because they're easy wins.

Watch the Clottey fight again. Manny can barely land a shot when the person he's fighting aint wide open.

Roach will keep lining up the brawlers, and Manny will keep knocking them down.

Don't try and claim he's the same fighter with pure boxers

I really wanted to see this fight at 130, where I would actually make Guzman the favourite. Now, Pac starts beating him up after the first few rounds and stops him.

I actually think now would be the perfect tim for Pac to fight him though. Guzman is probably the only world-class fighter around these weight classes who (at least tries to) fight like Mayweather. Pac would get invaluable experiance against a slick fighter who uses the shoulder roll but who doesn't have much chance of beating him.

Yes, but only because Guzman would come in at 147 if they fought at 122-135.
