Well it was good to see valero finally fight someone of a decent level but that aside its been bums all the way. With pacquaio only a couple of fights away from hanging up the gloves i dont think it'll happen. Hypothetically pacquaio will be far too quick and stronger at the weight (dont see manny dropping back to 140lbs for this) and stop valero in 4-5. Be interesting to see, hey stranger things have happened this is boxing after all

cant see it happenin because he cant fight in america which could stop things plus its kind of a backwards step for manny and a think valero will get alot more from the fight win or lose than manny will get a think manny has 3 more fights one being mayweather later this yr or early next yr

Mid round stoppage by Pac. Valero shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Pac at this moment. He has a lot of potential but he is nowhere near the full package. Whether he will ever be, remains to be seem.

Valero's footwork is average at best. His defense is far too sloppy and his offense is little one dimensional. He has Little lateral movement and therefore predictable which means a slick defensive master like Marquez will counter punch him until the cows come home. He has to get his footwork going and bounce around on them toes if he plans on beating the best around.

He will always have a very slight chance of winning due to his power and work rate. If he managed to trap Marquez in against the ropes and pummel him he could get a stoppage. But this is incredibly unlikely.

I'm not pissing on his parade. He has shown himself to be a true warrior and I am a fan. But he needs a lot of polishing around the edges to be compared to Pac. Freddy Roach would do wonders for Valero imo.

I don't think Valero is ready to fight in the WW division, not yet @ least. MP by TKO.

Quality fight but Valero is like a young unrefined Pac. I wanted to see this fight before Pac began his rampage but now it doesn't make sense unless Valero goes to 140 sparks Bradley and Khan and throws himself right into the mix.

I think Valero isnt going to get any meaningful fight's if he keeps knocking every one out like this, he is to much of a gamble, sort of like a Choi situation.

And here is the oposite end of the scale :patsch
    You underrate Valero obscenely!

I think Pac wins by tko in 6.

Yes I think he is crude and has limited skills but Pac knows that Valero is a banger and will not be going in for a first round KO. He will take his time and outbox him and will eventually break him up by the mid rounds.

Pacquiao would demolish Valero...probably in less than 2 rounds.

Why all the love for Valero all of a sudden? To listen to people on the GF (which I don't very often) you would think that he is the second coming. From what i've seen of the bloke he is as raw as ****, plenty of power but a world level operator who can box will run rings around him.

If he gets in the ring with Pac he'll think he's surrounded....plus is he still banned in the US from fighting anywhere other than Texas because of the plate in his crust??

    His 'power' is a myth

  14. I watched the Valero/DeMarco fight last night and as impressive as it was to see Valero dominate and eventually break the young Mexican it still left me thinking that a world class fighter could easily exploit Valero's defensive shortcomings.

I think Pacquiao stops Valero early at this stage.

Dont think so actually sir. Have you watched his KO's?
Some of them are against tomato cans sure, but there are some which I think are genuine heavy handed ko's.
