Not as talented like his three compatriots Wanheng Meenayothin, Knockout CP Freshmart and Palangpol CP Freshmart, but still Panya Pradabsri had the undeniable qualities of a world champion despite the controversies. A controversial defeat against Chaozhong Xiong, but three controversial victories against Wanheng Meenayothin (twice) and one time against Carlos Canizales. Nevertheless, he has delivered some spectacular fights; his rematch against Carlos Canizales and his fight against Danai Ngiabphukhiaw were particularly impressive and are arguably his two most impressives performances. Panya Pradabsri will be remembered as a boxer for his volume of punches, his chin, and his punching power. Regarding his chin, I think he was one of the best chin of 105-108 lbs boxers of all time. You have to see all the powerful shoots he took during his first fight against Canizales, Yudai Shigeoka and Norihito Tanaka, many boxers would have been knocked out (specially the fight against Yudai Shigeoka he had so many punishments during the fight..). And the guys was afraid of nobody (and that's a fact he can be proud).
Not sure how I missed this thread eight months ago. Pradabsri surprised me when he handed Moonsri his first two losses and surprised me again when he lost to Shigeoka. Finally, he surprised me with his defeat of champion Carlos Canizales. I never knew what to expect but Pradabsri always gave a solid, professional effort. Have a good life, champ.
