    I hope he does consider it. I say this as a fan.

    He has done everything in the sport he needs to do. Won a title, fought the best in front of 80,000 people.

    Retire with 10 million with health and sanity intact at 26 years old.

    Not a bad plan....

    He's going to have to go back to fighting out of NZ for $500k a fight tops. A big drop from the Femi ppv bonanza. Does he want it enough when he can sit back and do his fishing?

    Well, when you put it like that, yeah, it does sound reasonable.

    My gut reaction was that retirement at this point was ridiculous, but perhaps not.

    On the other hand, 1/3-1/2 a million is nothing to sneeze at.

    He can still forge a career in the second tier of the division, lots of fights down there with Wilder, Whyte, Price etc.

    Two top tier HW in the world are Joshua and Fury. Everything else is just filler until that fight can get made.
