Parker vs Browne

If Lucas produces what he did against Jarrell Miller, he will be in with a great chance. He really gave that a good go.

Having been stopped in that one & not rebuilt with any wins since, he's up against it against the cherry-picking Kiwi who is taking it upon himself to put some respectability into The Boxing Scoreboard. The lengths people will go to in order to see their names up in lights on The Boxing Scoreboard is really quite surprising.

What I want to know is when are some of these big-name overseas heavies going to take on the top tier of Australian Heavyweight boxing? We all know Joseph Parker's time as ruler of southern hemisphere heavies is coming to an end but he's stringing it out with fights against Django (early stoppage) & Big Daddio.

I'm applying triangle theory to the outcome of this one & looking at their most recent common opponent - Junior Fa. Having done the computations & factored in that Big Joe squeaked home against him & Big Daddy smashed him like a guitar, I can see this only going one way - KIWI DOWN! Big Joe's chin crumbles when Big Daddy lands the knee-trembler.

Australian Heavyweights > New Zealand Heavyweights - pass it on.

Parker/Ruiz 2 would be a good fight for both.

 

Good call but Ruiz seems hellbent on making more money each fight than his previous fight and that won't happen for this one.

 

You hyped the hell out of Filip Hrgovic v Demsey McKean but are shaming Joe Parker for fighting Lucas Browne. Last time I checked, Big Daddy was rated higher than McKean. He certainly punches a lot harder than him.

 

Just watched Browne vs Miller and Browne is still a dangerous man.

How the F did Browne lose to Gallen and Allen, that Browne would kill them on the same night.

Maybe Browne didn't have his mind right at the time, but clearly is a bit ressurgent after the Fa KO.

 

Would be hilarious if Browne drops or even stops Parker. Probably not going to happen, but I didn't think Chisora would be able to knock Parker down and give him so tough a fight in their first go round, and since then Parker's been through that gruelling Joyce fight and been stopped for the first time. Stranger things have happened.

But main likelihood Browne will probably come in grossly overweight as usual, and plod through the motions before a pitty pat flurry from a disinterested Parker puts him down for the count. Would have been so much more interesting several years ago, when both still had something to prove.

 

I love Gallen as a footy player but I have watched that fight back a few times. Gallen hit Browne with multiple illegal shots it all happened to quickly that the referee missed it. It was a good game plan from Gallen to come out fast as Browne usually comes out for a Sunday stroll in the first round.

 

Would absolutely love to see Browne uncork the right hand on Parker and have him doing the electric boogaloo like he did to Fa

 

I said that because Parker has achieved much more than Hrgovic in his professional career and has a better team, Hrgovic has no choice.
