Pascal is nothing. Glorified Journey man + a few points. Got outboxed 7 rounds in row by a 45 year old. Hopkins is out of control one of the greats.

Actually Adrian Diaconu and Beibut Shumenov are the worst Light Heavyweight champions in history, Pascal is in third place.

Wow a bunch of drama queens here. Hopkins probably won by a round or two, but Pascal did manage two legit knockdowns (if you dont think they're legit just because Hops cried then you dont know **** about boxing), something no fighter managed to do in 16 years. Pascal is no phenom, and this was not his greatest showing but I don't think he got exposed. He still clearly beat Dawson (someone who Hops blatantly ducked) and is still the belt holder. I wouldnt call this a robery, and neither did the Showtime commentators. Tarver had it for Pascal.

But Pascal is in his prime at age 28 fighting in his own backyard against a 45 year old past his prime but still couldn't win? B-HOP was the one pressing the fight throwing combinations and Pascal is the one backing up throwing looping powershots and looking tired. That should tell you something :bbb

What does that tell you? Imagine if B-HOP was 10 years younger.

I'm not arguing against that. I'm just saying that this was not a robery and that Pascal was not really exposed. He fought his style, but let his foot off the gas pedal after the 5th. IMO Hops deserved the win but again not a robery. BTW, I think most people watching the fight were impressed about Pascal's counter punching in the first 3 rounds, to the extent that they were saying Hops would be beaten down bad. Either Hops adjusted to Pascal's counters, Pascal took his foot of the gas pedal or both.

I know, you are right it is not a robbery, a 114-112 win for B-Hop or a draw is acceptable.

If it was a win for Pascal then that is a Robbery!
