Joseph Laryea from Ghana fro the vacant WBO intertatty title on dec 4th .13-4 with most recent victory over the dangerous Ali Aliabi for the vacent ghana title . i would have preferd a tough eruopena if you were going for foreign opponent's ,but this will serve as nothing more that a confidence builder for appleby i suppose . also lost to Amidu who lost to burns .
I suppose it's just a good thing that Warren is obviously looking to step him back up to domestic title contention next year and so is giving him a twelve round title fight. WBO intercont title though? Warren looking to get paul up the rankings with the WBO in order to match him against Ricky Burns?

****ing stupid, he should be fighting someone like crolla, morris or even Walsh for the commenwealth. He should be at least fighting for the commenwealth or the british in his next fight. Personally i dont want Appleby v burns for a couple of years at least. Let Paul Develop and mature at british and euro level first. Fights like this do nothing for him, he has already fought some warm up/comeback fights give him someone a bit more meaningful than this guy who has been brought over because he is cheap.
Warren always seems to get his fighters title shots with the WBO for some reason! Calzaghe, Burns, Cleverly (interim), Cook (?), Big Enzo, Mitchell etc the list is endless
i like paul.used to train at he same gym as him about 4 years ago.didnt know who he was at the time but its been good following him so far
clearly he is moving him towards the Burns fight. He is well out of the picture for the British and doesn't look like he wants to make the Walsh fight yet.
well it could be that Warren dosent want ot make the fight or even Walsh dosent want to make the fight either ...
