Does anybody what is Paul butler doing now? Has he commented at all about where he goes from here? Has he commented on the loss to Rodriguez?
Paul took a beating in that fight so I think he needs a long rest from boxing when he does come back he should re-evaluate his training and look at a coach that can get him back to the silky smooth style he had before he went to Gallagher who imo was totally the wrong coach for Paul but good luck to him too lad
I was amazed he went with Joe g. Paul was never a typical Gallagher plodder ( hands up, march forward, zero head movement...the Joe g "formula") and definitely needed a more sophisticated approach to maximise his talent IMO.
Wud it of made a difference and secondly I don' believe for one minute he had 5 weeks notice. He wud of known of way fight and date they had plans 10-12 weeks b4 don' forget he was the Home fighter
Maybe it wouldn't. The talent levels at Paul's weight right now are phenomenal. That's unlucky for him. It's just a Shame that a British fighter his talent isn't getting anywhere. Plenty of worse boxers at other weights are doing much better.
Burnett is a stablemate of butler, right? Burnett must know from what happened to Paul what he is up against in wbss. He can't be under any illusions now. Fair play to him for entering. Will Burnett do any better agsinst the monsters at 118?
I think Paul can come back and win the European title then have another crack at a world title BUT not under Gallagher he’s all wrong for paul
To be fair paul is talented but hes faced two really talented fighters when hes fought for a title. Hes obviously not world class, He has good skills but hes small, not a hard hitter, not the most durable especially against world class talents. European level, But he seems to only have to bowl over latin american bums then he gets a shot.
Burnett with Booth so might not come unstuck(time will tell I guess),Booth gets the best out of his fighters.
