paul butler comeback

i still have high hopes for butler think hes a very talented and exciting fighter who lost to genetic freak in tete.
he wont be that affected i dont think because hes admitted tete was the better man and has praised him alot. he doesnt sound like a beaten man, hes upbeat and ready to do the business. i dont think theyve shipped in a big threat for his return on the manchester card, but im sure after 1 or 2 fights he will go back to fighying for titles.

 

Some unreal champions at the weight and massive talk of Roman defo moving up and fighting for the WBC title straight away, think he will dip his toes back at bantemweigt if the right champion is there to pick off.

Completely right about Tete, taller than 3 of the featherweight world champs and a longer reach than GGG, hits hard and is a southpaw, how he makes SuperFly I do not know.

 

what about fights with yafai and conlan? would u say jamie mcdonnel was too big for butler?

 

Both wanted to fight, I believe they may have sparred before be a *******, everyone right now would favour McDonnell but be a good fight, throw in Haskins etc and there are some good domestic fights.

 

Think yafai beat Butler twice in the AMS but also be a close one, do think Yafai carries some good power for the weight.

 

Butler is likely to face Conlon soon I feel. He should be too good for Jamie.

 

I don't like to slag off any boxer but I really don't understand why Butler gets rated so highly.

He struggled badly with Ash Se xton and I thought Stuey Hall should of been given the nod in their fight. Has he actually beaten anyone decent? First time he properly stepped up he got picked apart and brutally ko'd.

 

***ton came in overweight and and his plan was just to lean on Butler all night, wasnt that Butlers 8th fight or something, then steps up goes to Newcastle, up a weight and beats Stuart Hall, Butler won the first six rounds easy and I can only remember one round Hall actually landed a decent shot, do agree he will find it very hard to win a world title at Super Fly but to win the Bristish, Comonwealth and World Title in like 16-17 fights fair play.

 

Fair enough he's won titles early but there isn't very stiff competition domestically in the lower weights so you're sort of forced to move on quickly. He only had to beat Stuey Hall for the world title and had a hard time doing that. Hall was hitting him with body shots constantly when he had him pinned on the ropes.
