Paul McCloskey...How good?

He's decent. Has decent pop. Keeps his hands too low for my liking. A Malignaggi style game-plan implemented would be very good for Khan in this fight.

The thing is, McCloskey's never fought in an atmosphere of 23,000 people, not been in with someone who has the speed or power of Khan, that's for sure, so I'd like to see how he copes with all of it.

 

he's good, well i really like him at least, accurate punchers, good power, a bit of a leaky defense, i really wanted to see him develop more before he stepped up in comp but oh well!

he'll give a good fight for 4-5 rounds but i think khan will begin to take over after that.

i like him.i have seen him look bad on one occasion but he still pulled a vital k.o out of the bag.but when he is allowed to look good he isVERY good.not really seen his chin tested and it will be interesting to see how he copes with amirs speed.i,m sticking my neck out-mcloskey win by k.o

 

He is a good solid fighter, decent all rounder sort of guy.

I think khan will be too much for him, but Paul would handle the likes of Alexander/Kotelnik/Maglinaggi etc quite well imo.

I like him as a fighter and a person.

He's not gonna be the very best in his division but he is a legitimate top 10 contender at light welter.

has good reflexes, a decent punch and quite an unorthodox style.

I see Khan beating him, but I just hope for McCloskeys sake he makes a good showing of himself, and who knows maybe he'll get the shock win....

And in my opinion, Khan isn't really all that powerful, hes yet to put anyone down for the 10 count.

McCloskey is good enough to hopefully do a job on Khan and take the WBA belt back to Dungiven.

 

Tbh all this he hasn't experienced a atmosphere thing is all if's and but's. He might revel...who knows. Khan's hardly a man who enjoys the start of a fight and centre stage you can always sense he's nervous about going to war which isn't a bad thing but he's no Mayweather when it comes to confidence in big fights.

Tbh Laz Khan looked like a kid in school who **** himself and whiped his arse with a leaf. He was a nervous wreck for all the fight. Understandable might i add. Watch his reaction at the end...relief!!!

Yes he has experience of it and he does the job but Paul might enjoy the 23,000 Crowd. He might not. I think it ''can'' be a factor but it's not a given.

come on lazarus, paul mccloskey ain't dimitry salita, even the malignaggi win was better that the barrera win because paulie was at least a legit light/welter weight.
