Paul is not a power puncher as the video makes it look like. He's got good boxing skills and great reflexes.. but that's it. I think he could beat Prescott and probably even Peterson.. but Amir's speed is going to be a problem.

He keeps his hands too low. Khan will find it too easy to hit the mark.

its a moot point now but he shoulder rolls and counters, he doesnt wait too long to fire back

he has sting and snappiness, and he has stopped durable opposition, he has actually gotten stronger and more powerful in recent years, he is not feather fisted by any means is basically the point.

    hes never been hyped

he was a classy amateur who became a classy pro.

an irishman with a slick style.

Id favour khan atm, but mcloskey has world class potential in him, and it will be fulfilled soon.

He's got a better chance of beating Khan than many think as i think he will improve against better opposition. If Khan is just facing him as a tune up for the winner of Bradley/Alexander fight then he may be waving bye-bye to his title.

Paul's a good fighter he has decent power, very nice reflexes and throws a mean uppercut (Khan weakness). However Khans speed will be too much for him and he wont be able to counter the flurrys, I expect it it to be very similar to the Malignaggi fight.

the big difference I see between Malignaggi and McCloskey(Hatton took advantage of this) is angles

McCloskey uses angles, Hatton used them, Paulie never did, he used his feet to avoid punches, and not very well.

I actually didn't mind the music in both the McCloskey & Mayweather vids in this thread. At first I didn't like them but they grew on me. McCloskey/Khan should be a good fight and instead of seeing a one-sided brutal beating, I now see McCloskey getting outboxed but maybe having his moments here and there. Thanks for the McCloskey footage.
