11-0 (10 by way of submission)

8 subs by way of triangle choke!

Has signed a 4 fight deal with the UFC!

    Thoughts?

Good grappling fighter who I would like to see step up again. One of 4 Brits to sign with UFC. Perhaps preparing for the downfall of Hardy, Hathaway and Daley or to expand the roster!

At least the UK will be strong at 170lbs - Hardy, Hathaway, Daley, Sass, Osipczak and Wilks.

As regards Sass, I want him to do well, but in the last fight he looked like a KO waiting to happen. Twice he went in, hands low, looking to pull guard and leaving his chin wide open. I think a fighter with decent stand-up could bounce right hands off his face all night.

It's a very exciting style though, in one round he attempted four triangle chokes and a heel hook, while doing everything possible to take the fight to the floor. His guard was very active as well - he was always looking for the submission, to improve position or land punches and elbows off his back. He clearly has the gas tank to go with his skills.

He seems to severely lack stand up skills.

Agree with you guys. He looks talented on the ground but needs to improve on his stand up.

    He is a lightweight.

Actually the UK also a fair amount of lightweights in the UFC, though none are contenders yet.

As well as Sass there is Terry Etim, Paul Kelly, Ross Pearson, Paul Taylor, Kurt Warburton and Andre Winner.

Got a really agressive guard which is great to watch but will be interesting to see how he gets on against a guy with really good BJJ. He's still very raw though but there is talent there.

seems to have a great guard, and there arnt too many fighters that can make fighting off their back exciting. hope he can improve his standup, you cant become a decent fighter with no striking.
