Another scouser who thinks he is far better than he is, just like Bellew. The guy comes across as an arrogant pr*ck and the way he conducted himself in the Ward fight was a disgrace. He is a garbage fighter who never deserved to fight at world level.
I like him. Good pundit and decent fighter. His weight for the Ward fight took unprofessionalism to levels Joan Guzman couldn't attain, but other that he hasn't done anything to bad in my eyes. People having a go at him for thinking he's a better boxer than what he is; all boxers have this attitude. It's called self belief. Also, don't blame him for fighting Ward. He didn't offer himself the fight. Blame Ward and his management team for the mismatch. Smith does tend to get put down for doing things other boxers do.
If and it has to be a huge if. Callum Smith loses to Rocky I reckon Paul Smith VS Fielding being made. You could argue Fielding wouldn't need to take the fight but I reckon he would take it in a instant.
Agree The weight issue was compounded with the comments he previously made about Fielding - risk of being in the public eye I'm sure he was more p$$ed off the anyone else and it was good the way he came out a few days later and held his hand up.no excuses. Ward also went up in my estimations the way he handled it during and after (not before - shouldn't of been made at that weight) Seen some of the comments on Twitter and I can understand why some people take offence. At least he is being himself and prob more a dry and sharp sense of humour. Don't know the bloke but I reckon he's alright
People are saying he gets stick for the undeserved title shots but I remember lots of abuse long before he first AA fight was in the pipe line.

I wasn't saying it was wrong or not, I was just reminding people. I do agree though the names on his record aren't the best but I like him, will fight anyone. Nothing wrong with not being world level. Very good pundit despite his regular told you so ing haha. If he'd have got the decision against Abraham, would people dislike him even more because they didn't think he deserved it or give him the credit he deserved?
Smith is a clown. A miserable, bitter little tit. He thinks he's world level even though he got battered by Degale and Groves and his best win is Tony Dodson FFS. His own little brother Callum is taking care of business against Fielding as his world level big brother didn't have the ***** to face him- what a joke. If Murray somehow escapes Germany with the belt (not sure if there is an immediate rematch clause) then it's odds on Murray v Smith IMO another joke
