How good could he have been had his personal life not been so chaotic?

Spadafora showed some skill against the second tier of lightweights, Angel Manfredy, Billy Irwin, Israel Cardona, and Mike Griffin. He showed some balls getting up twice from knockdowns against Victoriano Sosa to come back and win. But he was lucky to get a draw against Leonard Dorin, who got flattened in two in his next fight against Arturo Gatti. Spadafora certainly never beat or even fought anyone in the class of Joel Casamayor or Juan Diaz. So, probably at his best Spadafora was world class, but never above the bottom five of the top ten.
He certainly ranks among the best of lightweights that shot their own girlfriends though.

He's undefeated it doesn't matter who he fought he would win almost every heads up match considered, and he is unstoppable.

He was of the very good, not great caliber of fighter. Top ten for sure, top five on a good day.

Some will not like to hear that because Floyd got clowned during sparring with Spadafora.

Having a prime version of him fight Juan Manuel Marquez at 135 would be pretty interesting.

I don't expect him to be knocking guys out, but like he said himself I'm a BOXER. I'm sure the guy could have gone far
