How on earth can ppl justify putting this guy into top 5 p4p? Even saw today soem suggest he go to p4p nr2. Maybe im missing something but can someone please break it down for me why he is so highly regarded. After reading so many Calzaghe hate threads i understand having elite skills alone isnt enough so we can discount that and after reading how Froch loses marks for having a loss on his resume then combine with the fact he doesnt really have that good of a resume himself im baffled:p

he has a solid claim to top 10 imo, he has been very dominant at welter and deserves to be ranked #1 there, i'd favor him over almost any JMW except Dzinziruk, and he poses a legitimate threat to anyone from 47-60. Whether you think the man robbed sergio shouldn't destroy your perceptions of the rest of his career. He arguably lost to cintron in those early rounds, but let's face it the guy threw away that fight and the decision and paul came out on top.

He is borderline top 5 at best, and even that's a bit generous.

He beat Martinez and Cintron, but many believe those fights should have gone the other way. If the Ring can demote Alexander for 'winning' a fight which they believe he lost, I can't see why they shouldn't have Williams behind Martinez for 'winning' a fight he arguably lost.

Because he is a HBO hypechild and has a loud mouth which is enough to convince alot of gullible fans.

It should end soon though. Too many good young upcoming fighters in those divisions.

Because from 147 through 160, on any given day, he can beat anybody. Not unbeatable, but is an absolute nightmare for anybody!
