Ive been thinking he is a big old fella. How do u guys think he'd fair at say middleweight?

Here are a list of middles which ones do u see him beating

    Sturm
    Abraham
    Pavlik
    Taylor
    Carrera
    Castilejjo
    Elcock
    Duddy
    Mora

I personally see him definitely beating Elcock, Castilejjo, .
I feel he would maybe just beat Carrera
I think its 50/50 with duddy, sturm and mora
but i dont see him beating taylor or pavlik or abraham

I think he could do fine...he has a good chin and average power at welter. If his chin holds up at Middle and his "decent" power stays with him up to Middle, he might do alright. :think

Pavlik would KO his ass, but he wont be there by the time Williams moves up.

i beleive mayweather will beat hatton/cotto and mosely, but that williams is the perfect style of fighter to beat mayweather at 147.

    with williams size of 6.1
    southpaw stance
    punch output
    good legs
    good boxing skills
    decent speed

he has all the assets needed to beat mayweather and beleive he could.

Williams will be a middleweight eventually, but not for another 5 years or so. He needs to fill out still and move up slowly. By the time he's a middleweight, probably none of those guys you mentioned will even be there anymore, other than maybe Abraham and Mora.

Williams will get starched at 160 if he doesn't change his take-one-to-give-two style. Even now, he's vulnerable to getting stopped by punchers such as Cintron or Cotto. Shot, bloated Sharmba Mitchell actually managed to stun him.

He should go to 154 before testing the waters at 160.

Exactly. his power is suspect at 147, it will only become more apparent as he moves up in weight. as long as he is able to make weight at 147 he should stay there. maybe his chin is good enough stand up to big punchers. i guess we will know after he fights cintron, as marg isnt exactly a power puncher. I honestly believe that him, cintron, and cotto will be ruling this division inside of a year, leaving floyd going "hey guys, hey, dont forget about me. i know i didnt want to give you guys a chance, but im the best, remember, im the best."

Yeah just like Margarito did  , people need to understand that Pavlik is a one dimensional fighter, the right hand is all he has, Paul is the taller, faster and more technically gifted boxer out of the two, not too mention his stamina, movement, punch output, reach advantage and southpaw stance, i don't think it would be an easy night for Pavlik at all, if anything Paul is his worst nightmare style wise.

right hand is all he has? Pavliks left hook and left uppercut are devastating as well. And Pavlik is 6'2" 1/2, Williams is 6'1".

Williams would be knocked out in about 5 rounds.
