Does anyone see the comparison and similarities? Tall and rangey for their weight. Strong, powerful, durable, slow, come forward machines. Simple approach, tenacious yet exhausting for their opponent.
I think Taylor will have to do what Williams did to Margo. Box him, jab him, punches in bunches, use his feet etc Only problem is Taylor hasn't proven he can take the same head and body shots Williams could. He may suprise us. Most fighters wouldn't get away with taking Margos HARD, TWO FISTED attack to HEAD AND BODY! Plus Williams was the bigger guy.
Damn RELENTLESS, you are truly relentless. Pavlik is a top contender and could quite possibly be Undisputed Middleweight Champ. I'm ....well nothing.
margarito /pavlik...lets see ..one can actually punch...the other is more of a busy fighter that gets by on his chin and high work rate. ..hummmmmmmm. Nah margarito is not capable of throwing a str8 punch. Pavlik can take your head off with his str8 right hand...no similarities.
As much as I like Margo no, he doesn't compare to Pavlik aside from determination. Margo is only as good as the amount of punches he throws. If he throws under 70 a round it's a guaranteed shitty performance. He if throws like he did against Clottey he's a difficult sob. Pavlik on the other hand can end a fight on one punch.
I think KP is a better all around fighter. Margo is a limited guy.He's strong, pretty hard puncher, aggressive and an excellent chin...but his punches are way to wide/loopy, he is pretty one-dimensional and his defense is mediocre. KP by ontrast is a more skilled and polished guy-though no one will confuse him with PBF or a young James Toney or any other highly skilled guy. But he is a solid all-arounder.
They are both tough and make you fight. And yes, both are big for their division, but I think that is where the comparisons end.
