All you Pavlik fans can finally shut up with all the talk about how great he is. He got destroyed for 12 rounds!! Flat out. Destroyed. Calzaghe is right about him. He has one style and nothing else. He's slow, and unathletic.Period. He better go back to 160 where he can actually out work smaller men and over power them. But truely he should be fighting at 168 or 170. But him against Chad Dawson, Glenn Johnson, Calzaghe or Jones? Forget about it. A 43 year old man!!! Destroyed him. Enough said!!
Pavlik is still a good fighter. Remember that one style has been beating the **** out of all the other fighters that he's fought. This fight should speak more of Hopkins than it does of Pavlik - cause he's going to move back down to 160 and continue Knocking muthaphukas out. Hopkins was the better fighter - so there should be no shame in losing to a HOF'er - regardless of his age. And remember - some people had Hopkins winning the Taylor fights and the Calzaghe fights. Looking forward to seeing Pavlik in the ring again. Calzaghe fans better worry about Jones and stop worrying about what already happened to Pavlik. I'm taking Jones in that fight anyway.
Pavlik was overrated. I knew that Bhop would smash him up. Pav talked to much ****. Pavlik got beat by a 43 year old man.
So am I! But he is responding in kind which is not accurate as KP is a decent fighter. Just not the unstoppable force many of his fans seemed to think he was.
