It's like Calzaghe-Lacy all over again with a hype job getting leathered.

This shows that Gary Lockett was not as good as we all thought, and it also puts Calzaghe in a very positive light unfortunately.

Nothing wrong with Calzaghe being in a good light.

It's just nice when it's conclusive instead of so ****ing muddled as it often is with Joe.

Well I've always liked/respected Hopkins but he did get beat by Joe and did destroy Pavlik.

    :bbb

Anyway, guess everyone can get on with claiming Joe is ducking Dawson now, huh?

I thought the he lost the calzaghe fight too, but if he fights like that in a rematch he would win

i dont like it when the term exposed is thrown around this forum everytime a fighter loses, but it is entirely justifiable as far as this fight is concerned. hopkins showed everyone what level he operates on. pavlik was absolutely shutout 11-0-1. would have been 12-0 had it not been for the point taken away. Exposure indeed.

If Hopkins fought like that against Joe he would have won aswell. A Taylor rematch at 170 I also see Hopkins winning decisevly.

He fought just like that. Calzaghe didn't fight like Pavlik, that made the difference.
